About Us

We are a family-run business and, like many families, our lives are planned around our children's sports and various activities, the biggest of which for us is Travel Hockey. 

My son started playing Ice Hockey at age 4 and, at that time, I was a casual hockey fan.  I would watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs and, when living in a place that had a professional hockey team, I would go to a few games. I was always more of a football and baseball fan though. Now, several years later, my entire family has fallen in love with Hockey. We count ourselves lucky to be partial season ticket holders to an NHL team, we have hockey on TV almost every night, regardless of who is playing, we watch highlights and game recaps, and are generally raging hockey fans. We also have learned the crazy lingo of the sport, from sauce, to dangles, to dekes!

In turn, we also have our hockey “family” that we look forward to seeing multiple times a week, sometimes at obscene hours of the day, at the rink.  The rink is a place where our entire family has friends – my son’s teammates, hockey parents, and even hockey siblings and players on other teams.

We have come to realize that, even though we are in a warm climate, we freeze our butts off multiple times a week at various ice rinks and just want a great, HOT, cup of coffee to warm us up; hence our desire to combine our love for the toughest sport on the planet, our empathy for all those early mornings/long days at the rink, and a great brew to help us make it through!
